I
have had the pleasure of seeing Debbie perform in concert
in Los Angeles - New York - London - and in Australia in
Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, where I live. Super
memories and I have collected some reviews,
ads etc. from her Australian shows that I will endeavor to
post to this site. We live in hope that Debbie will return
here again where several promoters are desperate to book
her - I have my fingers crossed.

| I
saw Debbie Reynolds several times. I saw her perform
in a hotel in Reno. She had just gotten married to
her third husband and he looked so proud of her. He
was sitting with an actress whose name I forgot. Debbie
was walking on the railings of the seats. I couldn't
believe it!
I saw her
in Vegas several times and I saw her in "Irene".
I made my husband wait for her autograph. He had a bad
cold but he did it, but she didn't come out.
I saw her in Macy's selling her tape. She was very funny
and gave everybody her autograph. I also saw her
give a concert in Brighton Beach. She is a pro and is
never at a loss for words.

| I
met Debbie in June of 1998 at her hotel
in Las Vegas. I enjoyed her concert very much. I got my
picture taken with her. After they took the picture I
asked her if I could hug her and she said yes!!! I
got two prints of that picture. I went back the next night
just to look at her getting her picture taken with other
people. With me being in line the night before I didn't
get to see her that much. Well, I ended up getting my
picture taken with her again and once again I got another
hug from her. I went to Atlantic City a year later to see
her again. She autographed the picture of her and I.
It
was a great thrill to have seen her so close up as well as
get a hug from her. She is such a super woman!
Thank
you Debbie for being the wonderful person that you are!

| The
funniest thing that I can remember from her concert was a
man shouting out 'Sing Tammy! Sing Tammy!' after she got
fed up with this, Ms. Reynolds faced the general area of
where the voice was and said, 'Now you, just wait! It's
the only hit I've got, so you just wait until the end like
everybody else!'. We all laughed for ages.
Tribute on!

| Dear
Debbie:
Congratulations to
you on this
special 40th occasion! I live in Dartmouth Nova
Scotia Canada and my life-long dream has always been to
attend a show or meet you in person. You have always been
my very
favorite Movie Star of all time since I was a very small
child and I have a lot of your musicals. I love to dance
and love your dancing. My favorite of course is Tammy!
At 60 this year,
this is still a dream of mine and will always keep that
dream alive. I did travel to Las Vegas once to meet
up with friends about two years ago but I left the week
just before your show. I was so disappointed. I still have
hopes and dreams of meeting you one day and will hope my
dreams will come true for me sometime. All
the best to you and your family.
((hugs))

| My
friend Debbie (named after our favorite star) and I were
very fortunate to see the Unsinkable Debbie Reynolds at
The Orleans in October of 2001. We were in the second row
and it was the greatest performance we had ever been to.
Ms. Reynolds was so funny, we never laughed so hard
before. What was so memorable about her performance was
when she sang "Grandpa" by the Judds and showed
pictures of her grandfather. That was so touching. We had
tears in our eyes.
I was
also fortunate to see Ms. Reynolds at the Orange County
Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, California in
November of 1997. I hope that I am able to see many more
of her performances. She is a wonderful lady!
A big
fan,

Last year,
I took my grandmother to see Miss Reynolds at the Civic
Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City. This was my
belated Christmas present to her, and of course, Grandma
was informing me that I shouldn't have spent that much
on her. After a nice dinner, which was also part
of her present, off we went to the Civic Center.
The
Oklahoma City Philharmonic was in full form, but to be
honest, we really didn't care. We were there to
see Miss Reynolds. And once she took the stage,
she owned it. After filling our hearts and minds
of memories of MGM, her co-stars, & the days that I
wish had never ended, she continued singing, doing
everything from songs from "How the West Was
Won" (How I LOVE her rendition of 'Home
In the Meadow'!) to "Tammy" to Judy Garland
songs.
When she
started doing her imitations, she truly showed that she
was far more than a performer, but that she's an
entertainer. All throughout, she was showing her
sense of humor, and then she displayed it with her
imitations, which brought down the house.
The only
thing wrong with the show was that it had to end.
Grandma and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as the night gave
us memories we'll always cherish.

My
ex-husband was a musician in Denver back in the mid-ish
80's... he used to play gigs at the old Elitches Garden
Theatre. Debbie was a frequent guest of the old
Elitches Gardens...The last time I saw her there she and
Harve Presnell did the show together....and we all loved
every minute of it! After her engagement ended she
was most gracious to the band members and thanked them
all individually. My ex received an autographed
picture of her and also she asked each of the musicians
what type of liquor they enjoyed. My ex-husband
chose Bailey's...he was never much of a drinker,
however, it wasn't the alcohol type that impressed me,
it was the fact that she thanked each individually and
provided a token of her appreciation for a job well
done.
She
remains one of our favorite stars and entertainers for
all times.

My
wife and I have had the pleasure of seeing Debbie from
the Mississippi Gulf Coast to Chicago and every mile
traveled was well worth it. We look forward to
seeing her in Las Vegas soon.
Thanks Debbie, for giving us so much of yourself over
the years.

I
was lucky to see Debbie Reynolds perform when she brought
her show to Sacramento in the early 90's. After the
show I waited outside the stage door with a friend of mine
so I could say hello. We were with a group of
others, all of whom where senior citizens. Debbie
came out and took the time to greet each person and sign
autographs and pictures. When she saw us standing
behind this group she exclaimed, "Look! Men!
Young men!" Then she spent the next 10
minutes talking with us. It was great. What a
nice lady. I often think of her "young
men" comment and it tickles me to this day.
Sincerely,

Just
back from Las Vegas. Debbie gave a wonderful performance
which will be forever etched in my memory. She
looked as beautiful as ever and gave a superb impression
of Barbra Streisand. Best of all was Debbie coming out to
meet her fans and sign autographs after the show. Please thank her on my behalf.

Referring
to 1978, Mill Run Playhouse, Niles, Illinois (Chicago) .
. .
I
attended a concert there with my young daughter and mom.
I had the pleasure of having a picture taken with Debbie
backstage, and I spotted her outside walking her dog as
my mother and I waited for a ride ourselves. As I
approached Debbie, two big (and I mean BIG) bodyguards
emerged from a waiting car. They watched me . . . hmmm. I
still went up to Debbie (I fear nothing), asked if she
remembered me from being a member of her original Susan
Sturies Fan Club, and she did. When I looked at the
teeny-tiny poodle she was walking, I asked his name.
Debbie smiled and looked straight at me and told me the
poodle's name was "Killer." I got the message.
At any rate, the concert was great, and it was a thrill
for me to stand next to someone I truly admired for many
years.
CONGRATS,
Debbie, to enjoying many wonderful years onstage and for
making such sweet memories. I hope you enjoy another 40
years of making people smile. And, although Mill Run is
long gone, we have other playhouses and stages available
around town, so please c'mon back to Chicago, Debbie,
and bring "Killer" with you. (or "Killer
2" or "Killer 3," or perhaps
"Terminator 4"). Thanks for the memories.
