Many people may have foregone Debbie Reynolds in the mistaken
belief that she does nothing more than sing "Tammy".
How wrong can they be! Debbie is considered one of the
four top Las Vegas-style girl acts in the world, and judging by
the stand-out performance at the Palais she thoroughly deserves
to be.
Her impressions of such screen notables as Mae West, Zsa
Zsa Gabor and Marlene Dietrich were superb. And
it could well have been Barbra Streisand herself standing
there singing "People".
Debbie's own "Disco Fantasy" tribute showed off the
tons of equipment she brought with her and introduced her
eight-member dance team dressed as John Travolta, Charlie
Chaplin, Valentino and Superman, among other
film favorites.
In short ... a knockout!
And, if you were wondering who the four top girl acts are ...
Debbie Reynolds, Shirley MacLaine, Ann-Margret
and, wait for it, Mitzi Gaynor!
