Carrie Fisher interviews
her mom, Debbie Reynolds, this Sunday on Oxygen's
"Conversations from the Edge with Carrie Fisher" (10
p.m.) - and it isn't always pretty. The battling duo,
immortalized in the Fisher-scripted movie, "Postcards
from the Edge," talk about a wide range of topics,
including the revealing fact that Reynolds was beaten by her
mother (and locked in a closet). Reynolds catches Fisher by
surprise by talking about being kidnapped by her neighbors and
driven to Mexico when she was 5. She also talks about dating the
son of the president of Mexico when she was 18, and, of course,
the infamous breakup of her marriage to Eddie Fisher (Carrie's
dad), who ran off with Elizabeth Taylor.
"Your daddy was
adorable," Reynolds says. "Something happened."
